ORTHODONTICS
AND PEDODONTICS
Our goal is to ensure a healthy and radiant smile at all ages. We specialize in Orthodontics, the branch of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental alignment abnormalities, and in Pedodontics, the discipline dedicated to the care and prevention of dental problems in children.
We firmly believe that a
preventive and
timely
approach can make a difference in the
oral health of our patients. For this reason, we offer personalized consultations and treatments for
adults and
children, directing each case towards the most suitable solution.
Orthognathic orthodontics: alignment of teeth for functionality and aesthetics
The alignment of teeth is not only about aesthetics but is also crucial for preventing chewing and occlusion problems. Therefore, orthodontic treatment aims to achieve correct teeth alignment, harmonious aesthetics in relation to the patient's facial features, and efficient chewing function.
At our Coppola Dental Center, the diagnosis and assessment of each patient's specific needs are the essential basis for planning orthodontic treatment. Depending on the type of anomaly to be treated, the orthodontist may propose the use of removable or fixed appliances, auxiliary devices, or transparent aligners such as Invisalign®.
Our orthodontists are at your disposal with their professionalism and specialization, ready to explain the most effective treatment choice in line with your expectations.
Accurate diagnoses and personalized treatments
An accurate diagnosis is fundamental for every treatment plan. Among diagnostic tests, radiological examinations are of vital importance. It is essential that they are performed with modern equipment, capable of maximizing diagnostic value while minimizing patient exposure to radiation.
Recently, we have added a three-dimensional radiographic module that allows for CT scanning of the upper jaw and mandible. This tool also enables computer-assisted planning of implant procedures.
3D radiographs are performed by a radiology technician, while all radiographs are interpreted by a
radiologist specialist.
